Product information "Hipot Tester UH36-TM"
The UH36-TM is a high-voltage test instrument (hipot tester) with turbo mode for AC high-voltage testing with test voltages from 100 to 5,000 V AC, test currents from 0.5 to 100 mA and a power of more than 500 VA. The test voltage is regulated and the high voltage is potential-free, which makes the unit suitable for operation with test guns. The turbo mode enables high-speed testing for series production. A ramp function as well as contact and cable break monitoring support reliable test processes, and the safety circuit is designed in accordance with EN 50191. The unit is suitable for stand-alone operation as well as remote control via PC software or customer-specific applications.
Highlights
- HV AC - high-voltage test: 100 - 5,000 V AC, 0.5 - 100 mA, potential-free, ramp, discharge monitoring, contact monitoring
- Turbo mode for high-speed testing: total test time 300 ms + 10 % at 150 ms test time
- Shutdown via limit value and peak detection
- Ramp function, keypad lock, minimum current monitoring
- Remote controllable (ASCII, Windows DLL, .NET Framework Assembly, DataView)
- Source-sense operation, automatic start for test guns
- Contact and cable break monitoring
- 15 freely programmable parameter sets
- Fault indication: acoustic, optical and via interface
- Safety circuit with two positively guided safety relays
Benefits of turbo mode for series testing
The turbo mode is ideal for production environments with short cycle times and high volumes of test objects. It is important that the test objects have a nearly identical capacitance. The special software enables a total test time of 300 ms + 10 % at a test time of 150 ms, provided the unit is operated purely digitally via PLC with contact-triggered start.
Applications & industrial scenarios
- Fast HV series testing: optimized for high repetition rates, short ramp and discharge times
- Fixed test object: ideal for consistent contacting
- Component testing, e.g. contact terminals
