Accessories Frequency Inverter
AC-Drives are used in many applications and always have to work fully functional and reliable. In practice, there are effects such as radiant emissions, voltage-spikes, braking operation of motors with large loads and interference effects in the motor supply. To work always reliable and safe, it is necessary to counter these effects. Sourcetronic therefore offers a wide spectrum of high quality accessories for AC-Drives. These are EMI Input and output filters, brake units and brake resistors. External Brake units are used in applications where the connected motor has to deal with a heavy load or fast load changes. The Brake unit protects the intermediate-circuit of the AC-Drive from a surplus of energy, which is fed back by the motor. Through the brake resistor the energy surplus is then converted into thermal energy and delivered to the environment. The AC-Drives Accessories are all-purpose accessories and not only compatible to Sourcetronic AC-Drives.
