Netsmoorspoelen verminderen laagfrequente interferentie (harmonischen) en verminderen de belasting van het voedingsnet door de vervorming van het blindvermogen te compenseren. De aangesloten belastingen worden beschermd door de aanloopstroom te beperken, waardoor hun levensduur wordt verlengd. Het Sourcetronic productassortiment omvat series met kortsluitspanningen van 3%, 4% en 5% uk.
