ST600s | Err.18, what does this message mean, what can be done?
If the error message Err.18 appears on the display of the frequency inverter, it is a Modbus/Modbus TCP communication error.
Causes:
- Baud rate is not set correctly.
- Error in the communication line.
- Error in the communication address.
- Communication is affected by severe interference.
Solutions:
- Set the correct baud rate in P14.01.
- Check the wiring of the communication interfaces.
- Set the correct communication address in P14.00.
- Replace or modify wiring to improve interference suppression performance.
