ST600s | Err.06, what does this message mean, what can be done?

If the display of the frequency inverter shows the error message Err.06 appears, it is an overcurrent during operation at constant speed.

Causes:

  • The acceleration is too high.
  • The mains voltage is too low.
  • The power of the inverter is too low.
  • Temporary load or error occurred.
  • Ground fault or phase loss occurred at the output; Strong external interference sources; The overvoltage tilt protection is not activated.

Solutions:

  • Increase acceleration time P00.11 or Braking Time P00.12 .
  • Check the input power.
  • Choose the VFD with greater power.
  • Check if the load is short-circuited (ground fault or short-circuit between the wires) or if the motor does not rotate smoothly.
  • Check the output wiring.
  • Check if there is strong interference; Check the setting of the corresponding function codes.

If none of these error sources apply, please contact technical support.
