ST130 | Initial commissioning – What do I have to observe (motor data)?
Before commissioning a frequency inverter, it is essential to load the factory settings: y0.00 = 1.
After that, the rated motor data must be programmed into the inverter. These values are found on the nameplate of your motor.
Example of a nameplate from a three-phase asynchronous motor:

The required parameters are located in the -b- parameter group, ranging from b0.00 to b0.11.
- Rated voltage (b0.02): 230V (delta) / 400V (star)
- Rated frequency (b0.04): 50Hz (for values above 50Hz, adjust F0.08 and F0.10 first)
- Rated current (b0.03): 3.98A (delta) / 2.30A (star)
- Rated speed (b0.05): 1385 rpm
- Rated power (b0.01): 0.75kW
- All other parameters can also be automatically measured by the inverter. Use b0.11 = 2 for rotating measurement without load, or b0.11 = 1 for stationary measurement if the load cannot be decoupled. If possible, always perform the rotating measurement without load to achieve more accurate results.
