ST500 | Control with analogue signal

To control the frequency inverter with an external analog signal, connect it to terminals AI1 and GND or AI2 and GND.
The analog input AI1 is factory-set for voltage measurement, and AI2 for current measurement. If this needs to be changed, the jumper for AI1 (behind the terminal strip) must be set to position I, and the jumper for AI2 to position V.

To control the target frequency via the analog signal on AI1 or AI2, the following parameter must be changed:

F0.03 = 2 (frequency control mode on AI1)
or
F0.03 = 3 (frequency control mode on AI2)

If the selected input is to be driven with 4–20 mA instead of 0–20 mA, the minimum value of the input curve must also be adjusted by setting parameter F1.12 = 2.0 for AI1 or F1.16 = 2.0 for AI2.
