ST300 Series | E28, what does this message mean, and what can be done?

If the error message E28 appears on the frequency converter display, it indicates a parameter download error.

Causes:
The control panel cable is faulty or not connected at all.
The control panel cable is too long and subject to strong interference.
The firmware of the external control panel does not match the firmware of the converter.
A data storage error has occurred in the control panel.

Solutions:
Check the cables of the control panel.
Use a shorter cable. Check the environment to eliminate sources of interference.
Check the firmware version of the converter and the control panel.
Save the control panel data again. If the error persists, contact technical support.
