ST300 Series | E23, what does this message mean, and what can be done?

If the error message E23 appears on the frequency converter display, it indicates a brake unit error.

Causes:
A fault in the brake circuit or damaged brake wiring.
The resistance value of the external braking resistor is too low.

Solutions:
Check the screw terminals and the brake wiring and replace them if necessary.
Increase the resistance value of the braking resistor.
