How must a high-voltage test station be secured? What does “safety-limited current” mean?
A high-voltage test station must be secured and clearly marked in accordance with the guidelines of the occupational accident insurance (DIN EN 50191).
Test devices with a safety-limited current are an exception. No special safety measures are required as long as the tripping current does not exceed 3 mA for AC high-voltage tests and 12 mA for DC tests.
