Calibration

Calibration is defined as the comparison of measurements of a test agent with the values ​​of a set of normal values according to a documented procedure with the aim to recognize and track deviations.

The compliance with specified tolerances can also be checked and, if appropriate, an adjustment can be performed. The standards used must be traceable to national standards .
